Alberta Laura Pietrowski was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Albert Petriowski and Stella Stern on July 5, 1946.
She was educated in the Philadelphia Catholic School System and graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in 1963.
Alberta accepted Jesus in her heart at 15 years old at a Catholic Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She worked as a waitress for restaurants in Florida for 15 years. She also worked as a waitress in Philadelphia for 12 years.
Alberta was the mother of two children, George and Teresa. While she loved her children deeply, unfortunately there was a separation due to foster care/adoption for close to 30 years. During this time, she placed them in the best care at that time with their Adopted parents, Jonathan and Eileen Schmidt. After this long separation, Alberta was reunited with her children, George and Teresa in 2019. This was the happiest moment of her life that brought her the greatest joy.
Alberta enjoyed movies, music, reading, spending time with her family was near and dear to her heart. She loved going out to eat with her friends and family.
On Friday, March 22, 2024, God called Alberta L Pietrowski home. She is preceded in death by her family, Albert Pietrowski, Stella Stern, Gloria Flowers, Beatrice Hampton, Joy Mchugh, Chester Pietriowski, Harry Pietriowski, Theodore Pietriowski. Her Grandparents, Alice Bucannon and John Smith. She is survived by her family of Philadelphia, PA: significant other, George T Mclaughlin; children, George Thomas Schmidt and Teresa Anne Schmidt; siblings and their surviving children, Paulette Mcgann, Michael Mcgann, Diane Santi, Adora Stern, Jerry Jr. Slaughter, Annette Slaughter, Glenola Slaughter, Amber Lee Long, and Isabelle Sobotta.
